As someone with a combo oily skin type, I don’t have much luck finding a moisturiser that can offer the hydration my skin needs and not be too heavy to cause an oil slick and make my makeup shiny. I tried this cream when I had become empty on my normal pricey cream and I’m so glad I did. This has now become my favourite moisturiser. It’s a gel, it’s cooling, it absorbs so fast into my skin and gives me so much hydration. The best part is that it doesn’t have a negative impact on my makeup at all. And it was like $15 on sale at Woolies. It is just a magic little gel cream and I’m obsessed with the price. It doesn’t contain any spf so it can be used day and night and offers such great hydration for oily skin gals.

The Nude by Nature Energising Cleanser was a pleasure to trial. The cleanser arrived in cardboard box packaging with an aesthetically pleasing tall, slim bottle inside. The cleanser has a pump action nozzle to dispense the product and once dispensed, the cleanser had a slippery, smooth, slightly Amber, transparent consistency that had a citrus aroma. I wear a full coverage, matte foundation and this usually takes a bit to fully remove. My usual routine involves an oil pre cleanse first, but for this trial I chose to just double cleanse with the cleanser. The first application emulsified and melted all of my makeup. With the addition of water, the cleanser turned almost milky and once it was fully washed off, I was pleased with the performance of the first cleanse. After the second cleanse, my skin was squeaky clean and feeling soft and supple. I experienced no sensitivity to the cleanser, no itchyness or dryness. My skincare applied perfectly on the top and I will use this cleanser to the last drop and would definitely consider purchasing myself when empty. The only negative comment I could give this cleanser would be that it could come in a bigger size. But that’s if I’m not picking

I was drawn to this serum as it was marketed to be a non invasive topical alternative to dermal fillers, and noticing some fine lines appearing here and there, was feeling like I was the perfect candidate to try it out. The product is presented in a beautiful white bottle with a dropper lid. The scent is almost invisible and the texture is very watery and thin. There isn’t any slip to the product and it applies to the skin just like water would, and it does sink in quite quickly. After application and dry down, it doesn’t feel like any product is on the skin, nor does the skin feel ultra hydrated. It kind of feels like you applied nothing at all. Other products layer over it as normal. I used this product all the way to the last drop and didn’t notice any difference in the hydration in my skin. I didn’t experience any dermal filler like results in my fine lines either - but to be fair, that may have changed with continuous multi bottle uses, but for the hyalauronic side of things…I have used much better for way cheaper, so I wasn’t prepared to continue to splurge the $70 for 25ml of serum when I wasn’t experiencing what was promoted for the product.

I loved the Jergens Ultra Healing Body Balm. I initially expected it to be more like a body butter or thicker in texture product that needed to be heated in your hands, but I was surprised when it came in a medium sized jar with a screw top lid and had the consistency of conditioner. The body balm has a pleasant smell, once again in relation to a conditioner type of fragrance. I get a dry dermatitis under my arms, sides of my torso and under my bust and I moisturise after every shower, normally with a sorbolene or coloidal oatmeal type of moisturiser to keep the skin softened. This trial was perfect for me to swap those products out and use daily with the Jergens cream and see if it lived up to the others or beat them. One thing I hate is when a moisturiser doesn’t absorb into the skin quickly. There is nothing worse then feeling like a slippery and oily. This cream does absorb into the skin and it leaves a weightless feel. It does take a little longer than my normal creams but the hydration at the end of the day get far better with the Jergens. It was easy enough to open the tube and scoop out with my fingers. It’s probably not the most hygienic form of application and I do think with the consistency of the product that it could have come in a awuuese tube or a pump applicator. Overall I will use every last drop of this cream and would definitely consider repurchasing it, if it’s not at a higher price point then the ones that I currently use.

I have the driest hands known to man and there is always a tube of hand cream in my handbag, nightstand, bathroom etc. when I read that Jergens cream was ‘ultra healing’ I was eager to give it a whirl. Even though I love hand creams and desperately need them, I hate the thick, emoliant rich and oily creams that sit on the top of my hands and make me feel like a greasy mess. I normally wash them straight off. This cream was nothing like it. It comes in a tube and is a really decent sized tube of cream. Most of the hand creams I buy are half the size of this one, specially ones that are marketed as a repairing hand cream. The fragrance is there, but not too overpowering and it didn’t have the thick, hard to rub around texture, it was smooth and great consistency and slip to coat my hands. After around 30 seconds my hands have soaked up most of the cream, to the point where it doesn’t feel uncomfortable and need to be rinsed. Any residue I brought up my arms. Was it the best cream I had ever used. No, but it was up there with being a good hand cream that I would find myself reaching for again.

Was very pleased to be apart of this trial team. I love Clinique, but haven’t used too much of their makeup, I mainly lean towards their skincare, which is perfect because this foundation combines the best of the two. The foundation combines three serums inside, hyaluranic acid, salacilic acid and vitamin c and is intended to give you skincare benefits whilst your wearing it so that your skin looks better when it’s bare. From reading the name I did assume that the foundation would be serum like in fluid and texture, but it’s has the normal consistency of foundation, the serum just refers to the skincare side. It comes in a cute shaped glass bottle with a triangular lid. My lid was a bit off a pain to come off and the lid is white which is my least preferred colour on a foundation bottle as it can get grubby. The foundation is marketed as medium to full coverage. It was more full coverage on my skin and a little goes a long way. I used a third less than what I would use with my regular foundation. I have combination skin with an oily tzone and the foundation held up brilliantly throughout the day. I did get a bit oily in those areas but that happens with all foundations. Overall this foundation performed well. It suited my skin type, it lasted well and I love the benefit of improving your skin whilst wearing it.

I was super, super excited to trial this product. I have been interested by Lancôme’s Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum for ages, but haven’t committed to taking the plunge, mainly due to the hefty price tag and not knowing how it would suit my skin. So believe me when I say I was super stoked to be apart of this trial team. The product itself is absolutely beautiful. You can tell it’s a high end brand due to the beautiful glass bottle and precise dropper applicator that comes inbuilt into the lid. The black and silver aesthetic is right up my alley and I don’t think I have owned such a beautiful bottle of skincare. The product itself didn’t have the most clear set instructions on the box, it just stated to apply twice a day, before other skincare. It didn’t go into wether you were to use a couple of drops or more but after the first time dispensing the dropper, it shoots out the whole dropper so I have been using that quantity morning and night. The dropper refills itself automatically once the lid has been reattached, ready for the next application. The product has such great slip over the skin, I could tell it contained a silicone right away as I could disperse the dropper all around my face and neck with no quick absorption. I don’t mind silicones in skincare but it can be a dealbreaker for others. After I have applied the serum it dries down to an invisible finish within a minute and I’m ready for my next skincare step. I didn’t experience any flaking or balling after layering my skincare over this serum. I used the same skincare routine I had been using before incorporating the serum and didn’t add anything else so to give myself the best chance of noticing any visual results. And now for the magic. I could notice the difference in my skin after only a few days. I have been consistent with my applications and my skin has a luminosity that it didn’t have before. I know the benefits of pro and prebiotics for your insides and it just makes sense that they would have the same amazing benefits externally on the skin. I feel like this serum is getting me closer to achieving that “glass skin” look. This serum has been around for years but it has been reformulated. It now contains 30 million prebiotics and probiotic fractions in every dropper. I have already purchased my own bottle for when this one is empty as Lancôme has just introduced a reward system on their website

I adored the packaging of this product. Easy to use sachet with a cap. Nice and streamline that it can fit in the shower with the other twenty something products that live there. The product smells amazing. I was enjoying the fragrance whilst it was in my hair and could smell it still when styling. The hair mask is a lovely consistency. It’s not too fluid nor too thick. It disperses through the hair evenly and smoothly without feeling like you had to use more and more. After use my hair felt extremely soft and after blow drying and using hot tools, my hair felt healthy, soft and bouncy and not at all weighed down. I have enjoyed using this whole range and it’s a product that I would Definately consider repurchasing. I am hoping that it will come in a larger size though, as if you have longer hair, you need a little more and I don’t think longer hair users would get many applications from the sachet

I’m not going to lie, this scalp scrub was pretty tricky to use. The scrub itself is suspended in a thick grainy goo. It obviously has a little oil in it and you need to warm it up a little in your hands and then try to disperse it into the root area of your scalp. It feels like your getting it everywhere and going nowhere but then as you start to work it gently into your scalp you can feel that it is spreading around and I do this until I feel like the grains are getting dissolved. After you rinse your hair there is such a refreshing tingle to your scalp. I have come to adore this product and the feel of my scalp after each use. It also has cleared up the itchy areas I get behind my ears and around the nape of my neck in my hairline.

i really liked having a dry shampoo with no aerosol. i could just direct the nozzle to where i wanted to apply the product and just puff it out. the dry shampoo is not the kind of dry shampoo i'm used to using. i don''t think it has the brush out capabilities of some of the more powdery volumising ones. This dry shampoo has more texture and grit about it. My brush didn't like going through where i had applied it, so i used a comb instead to distribute and dissolve the product into my hair. What i did really like about it, was how good it was when putting my hair into a high pony. It gave me some good texture and workability to make more of a volumised and messy kind of look and the grit of the product helped my style to stay in place. So in terms of an everyday dry shampoo, i probably wouldnt reach for this. But for when i want my hair up - for sure. I'm not confident is stating whether it made my hair any thicker, as i could feel the texture and grit, but i don't think i felt any thickening effect. product smells really good too
